                                                                                            Tour's Itinerary

Let's start our tour at the beautiful Richardson’s Beach Park. A turtle sanctuary, Hilo’s black sand beach, and a refurbished ancient fishpond. We then drive past the infamous Ice Ponds (55 °F), which is a popular chilly dip for locals.

As we continue along the magnificent Banyon Circle Drive we enter into the beautiful Lili’uokalani “Japanese” style Gardens and 20-century post-tsunami devastation area. We pass by the sacred Moku Ola Island, which was once one of the eight places of refuge from the Kapu (conduct of laws) system on the Big Island.

Our drive continues now to the unique and temperate-tropical Hamakua Coast with a brief stop at Honoli’i premium surfing spot.

From here we are stepping to a private Coffee and Chocolate Farm! Hands-on education will delight your senses.

Turning off onto the Scenic Route we experience the breathtaking Old pathway with small waterfalls, one-way bridges, and a very lush landscape. The famous Onomea Bay and the “Sleeping Lady” in the lava rock are a treat not to be missed. The view from the cliffs of the old railroad trestle and the Hakalau Bay is exquisite - an absolute pleasure to see!

Passing through the tiny, ghostly, historical town of Wailea one encounters a true vintage Sugar-cane era village.

The Kolekole Park provides the uniqueness of a waterfall meets the
ocean waves with local fishermen and surfers at the rugged bay.

Finally, the famous Akaka Falls is 420 feet of a free-fall plunge that marks
the highlight of our tour. This is the largest waterfall in Hawaii that we can
get to on land. The easy trail goes through a coastal tropical rain forest
with rich flora and fauna, marking a wonderful adventure and crowning
point to our day.

We begin returning relaxed to Hilo.
